on Fri, 03/28/2014 - 22:04

Whew, I am glad this season is almost underway. The schedule was a challange for sure. Our online presence has been succesfull getting the info out early so you can plan accordingly.

Fundraisining ideas

We decided to polish up a couple of old timers for this year.

We purchased 50 KC Pro Glo Rocs. $18.00 Three foils, Black, Red,  Rainbow

Basket Toss We have Disc Catcher sport as a grand prize this year.  AND we thought we LIVIN UP the contest. WE thought "instead of going big, why not go MINI" So we did!

We have produced a short video with most of the particulars.

2014 state series schedule

on Mon, 03/03/2014 - 14:31

We have streamlined this years series. With all the excitement of the summer we decided to load our events earlier rather then later in the summer. We also have more then 7 weeks between our last Qualifier at Yaktown (Now, two days) and the finals. This is to give all of you time to work out the logistics of attending the finals

It's been a dream of mine to unite the WA States/ Newland to our finals and "reunite the belts" so to speak. Well 2014 is when that comes to fruition.

This year is the 40th anniversary of the Washington States Championships/Doug Newland Memorial and it will be  State

Last Eastside qualifier

What TD Jesse Ingrahm has accomplished  in three years is amazing. He has apropriated  land in an established park in Yakima. Succesfully gained local funding and Parks support to build a nine hole course as a test keeping 8 of therm as part of the final 18. Hosting one day series events for two years, Stepping up to a  two day event and once again be our last East side chance to qualifiy a state series player.

2014 Off and Running

on Mon, 11/25/2013 - 17:02

Boy is 2014 going to be interesting. With three A tiers and Worlds in the hood we had some serious issues to contend with. .

  • We submitted a solid schedule to Mike this morning. It has ten events and dates for 7 of them.
  • We are glad to announce that the Aloha Sushi Classic is going to be our opener in 2014.
  • Our 100 miles one way idea is working exactly how we thought it would.
  • We also kept in mind the economics of such a "top shelf summer."
  • We addressed the amount of time between  our last quailifer to the finals
  • thats includes frequent points updates.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer a

Series upodate July 1st 2013

on Sun, 06/23/2013 - 17:28

The series is off to a great start. The first 5 of (I can't beleive) 16 events have submitted fees and posted points. Thanks to the TD's and their staffs Marty, Sgt Mac, Kris, Bob and Snappy and Kenny for pounding out the hardest ( blank) update. His idea of  attaching and tracking non members with series specefic id's is an interesting solution.

The middle section is also up and moving. The Lagoon and Battle at the Barracks where both sucesfull. Hopefully their results will be on the next update!

Kitsap is a little
